Beta-carotene is the molecule that makes carrots appear orange. It is found in many fruits and vegetables and some animal products, such as egg yolks. Alpha, beta, and gamma carotene are considered pro-vitamins because they can be converted to active vitamin A. Our beta carotene oil suspension is oil-soluble food color which is widely used for yellow to orange foods.
