As the moving cone(head) exits the section, the crushed material falls under its own weight and is discharged from the bottom of the cone. To begin the crushing process, the material to be crushed is loaded through the feed port of the cone crusher. This is how the cone crusher operates, through a combination of rotation, impact, and gravity.
